The Acid Sulfate Soils Centre (ASSC) is a multidisciplinary research centre with core research staff in the University of Adelaide, CSIRO, and a national and international network of collaborators.

A world leader in the field of Acid Sulfate Soils, Rob works between the disciplines of soil science (pedology), regolith science, mineralogy, biogeochemistry, mineral exploration and climate change.

Research interests and skills:
Landscape processes, development of advanced techniques to characterize, map, monitor and manage soil-regolith systems, profiling, classification and mapping.

Dr Luke Mosley

Luke is a Senior Research Fellow in the ASSC with a very strong track record in assessing and managing the impacts of acid sulfate soils on water quality, agriculture and ecosystems, including the effect of drought and climate change.

Research interests and skills:
Geochemistry, effects of acid sulfate soils on surface and ground water quality, effects of drought on acid sulfate soils, hydro-geochemical modelling, management of acid sulfate soil impacts.
